RESULTS AVANITIPLUS 6Hr ENDURO

A_White_on_blue_new After all the rain in the beginning of the year it had been nearly 8 months since the last event at our beautiful Canungra venue and the Avanti Plus 6Hr Enduro was the ideal event. Sunday was the perfect day for a great day out for everyone whether they were riding or for the support crew and families soaking up the atmosphere & enjoying the country property for the day.   A few light showers halfway through the event threatened to put a damner if they got heavier but luckily it held off with racing continuing without another muddy race.

The riding machine "Andrew Mallet" had enough time just before the 6hr mark to get in another lap to take out the solo mens competing 17 laps ahead of Andrew Mcfarlane 15 laps & Jason Bray 14 laps.  The 40plus men's division was hotly contested with Brett Stevens, Darren Caruso and Haggis Haggerty all completing 15 laps but with Brett Stevens just haead of the other two riders on time. Brett Stevens still had enough energy left to jump up on the podium. Not to be left behind the solo women rode hard with a very close finish for first place between Emma Thomson & Prue Oswin both on 13 laps with Emma edging Prue out on time and Jennifer Strack in for 3rd place.  To see all the team results click on our pdf below.
